The Stillwater Letters is a free weekly email of prayer, scripture, and honest words for Christian women navigating daily life — the seasons no one teaches you to walk through, and the ordinary ones in between. Written by a woman in the middle of it with you, for the fellowship of women growing closer to God together.
Free, forever. Unsubscribe in one tap. Plus the 21-day prayer journal, on the house.

Most of what I read for years came from women who'd already made it to the other side. Polished. Resolved. Wrapped up in a verse and a hashtag. And I am grateful for them. But I needed something else too.
I needed a voice from inside the same everyday I was in — the morning rush, the things I keep getting wrong, the prayers that feel small, the tiredness that doesn't lift. I needed someone to say I'm here too, and God is still good, and I don't have it all figured out either.
So I started writing the letters I wished someone would send me. Every Tuesday morning. Honest. Scriptural. Short enough to read with a coffee before the day begins, deep enough to actually pray.
The Stillwater Letters is for women who want to grow closer to God in the middle of ordinary life — not later, not when the kids are older, not when the diary calms down. Now. With a community of other women doing the same.
You are welcome here. There is no programme to finish, no ladder to climb. Just a weekly reminder that you are seen, that prayer still works, and that the still waters are real even when the week isn't quiet.

The Stillwater Letters is the opposite of a content firehose. One short letter a week — written, not generated. Read it with your coffee. Sit with it. Pray it.
Friend, I've been there this week. The kind of tired that prayer feels like a chore and the Bible feels like another thing I'm supposed to do but can't.
Notice He doesn't ask you to find more. He gives. Past tense. Already done. The well isn't yours to fill — it's yours to come to.
"Where am I trying to give from a well I haven't gone to be filled at?"
A small, private community of women holding each other up in prayer. Real intercession, real names, real follow-through. Not a feed.
Share what you're carrying — anonymously if you need to. Real women will pray for you by name this week.
Receive a curated weekly digest of requests. Pick one. Pray it through. That's all.
One Zoom call a month. We pray together — no teaching, no programme. Just prayer.
I open The Stillwater Letters on Tuesday mornings before the kids are up. It's the only thing in my inbox that doesn't want something from me. I cried at the third one and I wasn't sad, I was relieved.
I have not had a quiet time in nine months. The Tuesday letter is short enough that I can do it. That sounds small. It is not small. It got me back to praying.
Every other Christian email is trying to sell me a course. This one is just trying to remind me God hasn't left. Forwarded it to my sister-in-law who is going through it too.
One quiet email. A 21-day prayer journal. A community that prays for you, by name, when you can't.
Free always. No spam, no funnel, no nonsense.
